Sound Of World is an independent record label rooted in the Turkish underground. We sign, produce, and release artists from the rap and street music scene — and we put their music in front of listeners everywhere.
We started in 2016 with one belief: that the sounds coming out of Istanbul deserved a proper home. Not a major. Not a compromise. An independent label that moves fast and backs its artists completely.
The roster is intentionally small. We work closely with a handful of artists and give every release the attention it deserves — from production and rights management to worldwide distribution across every major streaming platform.
We don't chase trends. We document what's real.
How We Work
Every decision we make starts with what's best for the artist. We don't sign deals that compromise creative control. The music comes first, always.

History
The label is established in Istanbul with a clear mission: to give Turkish underground rap the platform it deserves. The first release, Paydos by Veron Algos, sets the tone — a full-circle posse cut featuring four artists.
SOW secures worldwide distribution across all major streaming platforms — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Tidal, and more. Turkish underground music, now available everywhere.
New artists are signed, new sounds are explored. The label begins releasing at a higher frequency, establishing itself as one of the most active independent rap labels in Turkey.
RECO debuts with MASHALLAH, one of the most technically sharp releases in the catalog. The single confirms SOW's ability to identify and develop new talent.
Borqy returns with ONDAN ESER, building on his reputation for raw, direct street rap. The single performs strongly across streaming platforms.
BGKA marks Borqy's most complete release to date. The label now has over 50 releases in its catalog and continues to grow with new signings in progress.
